Marc begins tearing into the engine

With only 29,000 miles on the Jag it seemed like we would be able to leave the engine internals alone.

Well, it looks like this is just not the case.  When Marc started investigating the engine it became pretty apparent that their had been problems and a new oil pump had been installed.  This is pretty well known Jag problem and it left its mark in wear on the rod and main bearings.  So now the engine will get a new bottom end with new bearings, polished crank, and removal of all the worn filings.
