This truck was a working truck for most of its life in Taos, New Mexico. There have been many owners who have passed the truck from business to business with the last owner finally having to do some repairs. The truck officially a 1962 VW Single Cab Transporter is a classic series 2 VW with all the basics and absolutely no frills. Today I carry on the tradition by using it as my work truck and it gets the job done. With its awesome 36hp engine it barely gets up are hill but can still haul a 1/2 ton cargo. If you see me on the freeway I am the one doing 45 to 50 in the slow lane hanging on to bus like steering wheel.
I had several VW vans in my youth and this truck brings back all of the joys of that era, plus it puts a smile on the face of everyone that sees it.
someday i will have a blog like yours.http://www.yugiohrpgonline.net
